First post.
When I first started a web diary in September 2001, it was while we were waiting for our first son, Matthew, to be born. It is amazing how much both he and the web have changed. Matthew is now well past three and on his way to four; and blog software has made my old, painful system of creating web journal pages seem, well, old and painful.
I have been meaning to update my site for a while, but I never quite found the time to fiddle with Blogger, let alone adapt the templates. But after a long, frustrating week, I decided that I needed a break and found the few hours necessary. I’m pretty amazed. I can’t believe I don’t have to hard-code each page.
Hopefully this will allow me to keep the site updated more regularly. Heaven knows I need somewhere to vent all my rambling, if only to keep the blood pressure in check. I also intend to post some of my older writings.
I’m not sure who is reading this, but if you are out there, hello. Thanks for coming by.
